As you folks are aware if you've kept up with my doings throughout the years, I am an author of fantasy and horror. I started off as predominantly a fantasy author dabbling in horror. Nowadays, I'm predominantly a horror author dabbling in fantasy. It's odd, because most of my horror material is short stories and novellas.
I haven't been the best at promoting my own commercial material over the years, and I have allowed my blogs to turn fallow. It's not in my best interests to do that; I think I actually get more views on my blog here than on my regular Facebook Newsfeed. There's just so many things that pop up on a constant basis on people's feeds that it's nigh-on impossible to ensure oneself that their posts are going to be seen by the maximum number of viewers, thus guaranteeing previews or purchases of anything linked to.
Meanwhile, here on Blogger, anything I post will at least be seen by a couple of folks who follow the blog and those who are connected to me via my Google+ account. So, I'm going to start taking advantage of that here, at least occasionally.
